Note: We are in the process of

The Department of the Interior formally adopted the 2009 edition
of the Manual of Surveying Instructions on September 24, 2009.
This edition supersedes previous editions. The BLM is working
with the Public Land Survey System Foundation to prepare
copies of the 2009 edition of the Manual of Surveying Instructions for
distribution beyond the Federal Government.
Please monitor the BLM Survey Manual website for
further information and availability.
