This "fluted tool" was located during Seismic-related Archaeological inventory in the foothills of the Wyoming Range. The artifact style suggests that it was manufactured by prehistoric peoples of the Folsom Culture, dating to some 11,000 years ago. These artifacts are among the oldest and rarest found in North America.
